HT EXTRA bentonite
HT EXTRA bentonite is used as a component of drilling fluids for vertical and horizontal drilling. It is perfect for the drilling of hydro-geological, raw material, and geophysical and geo-engineering wells. It can be also used for the drilling of holes in HDD and microtunnelling technology. It is useful in even the hardest geological conditions.
HT EXTRA bentonite is produced from specially selected bentonite and carefully selected modifiers, which improves its rheological parameters. Also, polymers can be added to further enhancethe lubricating properties of a drilling fluid and reduce friction. A drilling fluid containing HT EXTRA bentonite ensures high efficiency and less material use. The cleaning of the well bottom and transport of the cuttings are possible even at very low concentrations of the bentonite in the drilling fluid.
The properties of a drilling liquid made of HT EXTRA bentonite are in accordance with American Petroleum Institute’s “Standard Field Procedure for Testing Drilling Fluids” API, RP 13A.
